The IR Viewer is a must have tool for all security installation and maintenance personnel.  The IR Viewer allows you to confirm IR emitters are working without the need to wait until dark or call into the monitoring station.  A visual inspection of IR illuminators should be part of the regular maintenance and inspection process for all locations.  In addition the IR Viewer can be used to sweep a room for hidden spy cameras and see illumination patterns to locate blind spots.
